I'm so sorry to hear. Today my puppy got run over by a motorcyclist and very similar symptoms. on x-ray no fractures, but bleeding left eye/nose. Also vet said she could lose an eye. I didn't take the plate number but the man came back to say damn, sorry, I have dogs too. I told him at least he didn't hit one of my small kids and scooped the limp body off the pavement. Drivers have accidents and I understand that, but I balled and cried. I'm hoping the next month progresses well. I looked at the times you listed...my vet didn't say anything about a day to two weeks, but I've held her in my lap for over 9 hours today and will make the most of every moment I can just in case.
What an awful shame, sorry
I am so so very sorry....It is so hard to have this happen...I truly hope you turned the license plate into the police.
My prayers are with all of you at this time.
I am so very sorry for you both. You did everything possible but sometimes medicine can't pull off the miracle. Cricket was very lucky to have such a wonderful companion in her life.
Oh, no! I'm so sorry, Matt. She was lucky to have such a caring owner.
Take care...
thanks to everyone,
but sadly a couple days ago she passed away :(
r.i.p cricket <3 : (
What a horror story. :-( There really is no way of knowing if she'll make a full recovery. The good news is that she's going in the right direction. I'll add my prayers to yours. :-)
thank you, and the newest news is the dog is alive, it can stand and walk. She responds a bit when you call her name, but she might lose her sight in one eye. Vets still cant tell if she has any bleeding in her head, and they also informed us that she could die in anywhere from an hour to 2 weeks due to a blood clot. So im keeping my fingers crossed and saying my prayers for her.
I too want to wish your dog a full recovery. I also hope the person who did this to your pet is caught and punished. Keep us posted if you can. All the best........sara
OMG! I hope you get the guy who did it! I am so sorry to hear what happened to your poor dog. Unfortunately, I don't really have any insights to share, but just wanted to wish your dog a speedy and full recovery!
