My puppy who is 13 weeks old got into what we believe was stinging nettles.

I want to know if there should have been more done like checking her mouth and making sure she didn't have anything in it. And she has been whining all day and taken everything. I'm losing my mind because I want to take the pain away and help her feel better. Should the vet have done more to make sure that we didnt miss anything.
