Need some answers

I have a 14 month old shepherd and she normally doesn't eat the stuffing in her dog toys and I've been good at throwing it in the garbage. But I don't know if maybe she got a small piece of it. She was dry heaving one day and coughing up white phlegm I believe and then the next day all day she was fine. The third day a little bit of dry heaving then she was fine, and today just a slight dry heave. I don't know if maybe she has a hair ball or swallowed one of the cotton stuffings from her toy. She is eating, drinking, peeing, and pooping okay. Is this just whatever is in her trying to pass through her digestive system or is it stuck? Do I try and get her to really throw up and if so what are some remedies I could use? Just want her to be okay!

Yeah I don't buy her toys with squeakers and this one didn't have it. But yeah normally she just chews the cotton to spit it out but maybe she didn't do it properly. And yes I'll Definietly will keep an eye on her and great I will try it! She's still her normal playful self she was on bed rest because she hurt her paw and was given meds which I thought maybe that was reacting poorly with her system but I'll keep an eye on her !

I have a dog here that was taking the stuffing out of toys.  No more stuffed toys?
Was there a squeaker in the toy?  If so, did you make sure the dog didn't possibky swallow it?
You can try giving her small pieces of bread soaked in milk or water, spread it out.  If she gets worse with vomiting, diarrhea or signs get her to the Vet.
