Our dog is very sick.
Our dog a 15 years old bichon frise, has been sick for the last months.Symptoms were:
- Minor anorexia
- Trembling and unable to walk
- Bad breath
we took her to the vet where she had some kind of treatment (injections) and at least she could stand on her feet properly again.
As of the last couple of days she refuses to eat anything, has lost her energy and today we found blood inside her water bowl and some drops all over the same room.Yesterday very early in the morning, she pooped inside our house and I can say her 'product' wasn't normal at all.Something like diarrhea but with an acidic smell.Then she was going all around the place smelling every door, corner, anything for about an hour or more, very strange for a dog mostly resting under our beds.
About a year ago she had a surgery, where an 'abnormality' near her chest was removed.I know I need to take her to a vet asap and that's what I am going to do, I just would appreciate an extra opinion from you.

P.S. If she poops again between now & your Vet appointment, take some with you in a jar......That will save her the anxiety of the Vet trying to collect a sample.....

-Minor Anorexia- Is she not able to eat or is she too sick to eat?
-Trembling & unable to walk- This is pain! What were the injections & for what? Do you have any more details?
-Bad Breath- Odor comes from Bacteria in mouth or digestive system.....
-Blood in water bowl- Nose or mouth? Can you tell?
-Smelling every door and corner? Has she lost her sight suddenly? Or does it seem she's lost the ability to smell?
When was her last dental? All this could be from an abscessed tooth...Did they check her teeth when she got the injections?
I know this is alot of questions, but thought it may help you determine what to look for and ask the Vet.....I hope you get in tomorrow......Please, let us know how it goes.....I'll be thinking about her......Karla
