Pumpkin eating pups

My pitbull pup was going crazy for the smell of pumpkin. I was carving some pumpkins and I accidentally dropped a piece of a carving on the floor. Before I got it my pup stole it and nearly devoured it! Is it okay if she can eat a piece of pumpkin?

I had to recently put my dog on a pumpkin supplement for constipation, the pie filling pumpkin in the can has alot of sugar in it so that is the only down fall if that is what your pie was made of... he or she will just poop good for a few days!!!   My dog gets it every day!!

Absolutely! Raw or cooked, it's a wonderful source of fiber!   Karla
