Puppy with swollen tummy
I have an 8 week old pit bull puppy and she is on claramax for an infection and has been dewormed by a vet but her tummy is suddenly so swollen and hard and I'm concerned it could be something bad.
It could be something bad and I wouldn't risk it! Is there any vomiting? You need to head to an Emergency Vet ASAP! Intestinal blockage is the first thing that comes to mind for a puppy. (They will get into and eat anything!) Next would be "Bloat", but I do not know if it happens in puppies, I'd have to look that up....Good Luck and let us know......Karla
