Thanks for the answers, I do feel relieved. Australia imports a lot of our peanut butter from the US, but, it sounds as if it'd be very unlikely that we would have any from a small plant in Georgia.
By the way, I watched some of the inaugeration on TV, you guys know how to party.

Chirley, it's a US problem as far as I know having to do with products made with peanut butter paste. Things like peanut butter cookies and crackers are made with the paste, and yes, dog treats too. The PB in jars is OK. It's one small plant in Georgia that was found to have salmonella in the paste products only. Most products were shipped to the midwest and upper midwest US states.

I'm from Aus and I don't know anything about problems with peanut butter. I give my dogs peanut butter flavoured dog biscuits as a treat. Is there anything I should know about?
I'm a little concerned that i've given them something bad.
