yeah. My mom is going to take her to the vet, she is due for her check-up and shots and things and is going to bring it up. I was just worried it might be a burrowing bug. It does sound like what you described though. But it is nice to know what to do if that happens to be what it is I will be able to recognize it in the future. Thanks so much.
I'm not 100% sure, but it could be a sebacious cyst. It is possible this white stuff is a hardened fatty substance. Sebacious cysts can often be expressed, but if the fatty substance has gone hard it will have formed a kind of 'plug'
I think the best thing to do, this time, is take her to the vet to get this checked out. Just to be sure what it definitely is. If it's a simple sebacious cyst, the vet will probably squeeze it out, dab on a little antiseptic, and then it will clear up. If you have to pay a vet's fee for this, never mind. At least you will know what to do should it happen again.
My dog occasionally gets sebacious cysts, and they do look a lot like this.
But, as I say, I cannot be 100% certain.
