Swollen lump on dogs anus.(pics inside) What is it?

Since about 4 monthso on the left side of my dog's anus(sorry i dont really know the specific terms) there is a lump or it is swollen. He can poop normally with no problem , and he acts healthy as usual. He is about 8 years old . I took some pictures , can you people help me know what is this?

My dog had the same thing. And it was cancer. So we had to put our loved one to sleep. Now he's over the Rainbow Bridge. I miss him so much.

My furry friend had the same thing and it was cancer and we had to put him down. Don't bash people for their comments.

She is totally correct my dog had the same problem and we have to put him to sleep now. So don't bash people for their own comments shame on you.

I think this is an adenoma, a type of cancer. My dog also had it, a malignant adenoma, and this was fatal.
