Four Years old, chiahuahua/pug mix, Rusty, a family member at our house as developed a growth on his back leg. Please look at this picture and give your opinion as to what it looks like to you?? Have you ever seen anything like it? A mole? A wort? Thank you so much. See picture

Saw a vet hon, she said " When we don't know we call it a mass" I'm watching it very closely, so far it looks good and not growing so wish us luck and thank you for responding!

It looks like a over growth of skin cells so basically looks like psoriasis to me, dose he lick at it and bite at it like it's itching? You should check the dog everyday and see if another patch grows if it dose you might wanna see a vet your dog may need special shampoo.

Yes it is a growth because it was never there before. It's behind his right hind leg right off the first joint. It is round and pink, beige in color, It does not appear to have fluid inside because I could squash it flat with my finger. He does not flinch like its painful and it does not bother him. I will take another pic from another angle so you can see where it is on his leg, if he will allow. Thanks so much for your help.  He has not been under stress at all, he lives a guiet and carefree life with us. The vet is stressful but he doesn't even mind that. He is a happy guy.

I can't see if it's an actual growth or not....No, it's not a mole.....Maybe a good description would help.......I can't tell (From the photo) if it's raised, crusted, hairless, weeping, inflamed, etc.  Sorry....
