Whippet Puppy!

Whippet puppy coming Friday. I will need some collar on her as medium/busy road although long drive exposed when opening front door. It has been suggested to me that she does not need a collar in the house. I realise she must wear a whippet collar when older, but what should she be wearing 8/9 weeks on Friday, thanks.

She does need to wear a collar unless she is at home in your Yard or house. Just a normal collar should be fine for her current age with an id tag on it (her name and your phone number or contact address)

No I do not own a whippet, we use to own a Grey hound but Unfortunately he passed away in December of old age although I work in a veterianian clinic and see Many.

I would be so careful of that road at the end of your drive too. To a young dog, excited by a new place, that driveway is only a short distance, and she has no experience of traffic. Make sure there is excellent fencing and a gate that shuts tightly.
Have a happy Friday!

Thank you so much! We pick her up on Friday, must get tag organised. Do you own a whippet?
