Help with my min pin!!

I have a miniature pincher, he is going to be 4 months old on August 1st.  He has VERY bad seperation anxiety, AND he barks and growles and strangers!  Even if somebody he knows is holding him, he'll wine, and wiggle, and try to break free to come to me.  Or if I'm holding him, and he sees somebody he's not familiar with, he'll bark and growl and sometimes even bite at them.  I don't want him to be a mean dog!  I tell him NO, very firmly, but he doesn't listen.  He's a very smart dog, and he listens to me with everything else except this area.  Please!  I need advice on how to train him NOT to be so attached to me that he can't go to anybody else, AND his biting and growling at other people.  Thanks!!

Your minpin has taken charge of you and your home as the pack leader.  In his mind, HE owns YOU.  However, this problem can be easily dealt with if you have the right tools.  Ask your vet to recommend a dog behaviorist to work with you.

My sister has a min pin and she is great. She does go to my Dad, but that is all other than my sister and husband. However, she barks at EVERYTHING and everyone. She's kind of stubborn that way, but we love her.
