can a healthy diet prevent a puppy from getting parvo virus??

Could a healthy diet prevent a puppy from getting parvo virus??? if so what may that be, what kind of foods or dog food should i  feed them or what would you recommend...what type of puppy food would you recommend i feed my puppies when they first get there teeth... ive heard somewhere that some people wont have enough money (unfortunately I may not have enough money for  a whole liter to be vaccinated)  soo they say that keeping a puppy on a healthy diet will prevent them from getting  parvo virus...is this true please be serious no rude comments

Thankyou and yes i know but my dog got pregnant on accident of course i am working hard with my parents to provide the money necessary for the puppies needs thankyou very much

Hello. No. A healthy diet will most definitely not prevent the transfer of the fatal parvo virus. Vaccinating against this deadly disease is the only way to prevent a dog from getting it. A good and healthy diet may help a dog survive various other forms of illness, given that if the auto-immune system is in a strong state, it will help fight other infections that may be acquired at a young age.

What I don't understand is why are you allowing your dog to have a litter of pups when you say you can't afford to vaccinate. This is extremely irresponsible. In fact, why are you allowing your dog to have pups at all, given there are already hundreds of thousands of unwanted dogs in rescue shelters all over the world, with many having a miserable life roaming the streets. Use any money you have to get these pups vaccinated - then get your dog spayed, to prevent further pups.
