dog ate oil paints

my dog (she is about 55lb.) ate three tubes of oil paints: red, yellow and green. paints are designed for kids and non toxic. she ate them about 20 hrs ago. I didn't see any vomiting, diarreah or any other symptoms of upset stomach so far, other then she feels guilty. she ate her food and had water, and wags her tail and only evidence is that she did it - she has paints all over her fur and her bed. she probably ate some parts of the tubes, because I didn't find much left of them, just few pieces of tubes and plastic caps. any suggestions?

With the paint being non toxic to kids then i am sure it will be fine.As far as  her eating some of the tubes just watch her for a few days and make sure that she is eating ,drinking and using the bathroom.Sometimes they can get obstructed due to an foriegn object,But it sounds as if she is fine.My Pekingese and her sister had chewed down my rose tree the other day and had put it at my back door.Apparently they wanted to bring me flowers and couldnt reach them so instead they brought me the whole tree...Lol I couldnt get mad cause they where so proud of what they had done and there faces looked as if they where both smiling.I think that only one of them had a hand in chewing it down,But they both wanted credit for it.Anyways i am glad to hear that your baby is doing well.Take care,Chan

I checked on her at lunch (3 hours ago)... she was fine, not even the guilty look left, she just looks like a clown, red-yellow-green all over .... I'm sure she's going to be fine now, it's been at least 24 hours, she is eating, drinking and very playful. now I need to figure out how I'm going to clean her and her bed..... those oil paints don't dry for a long time. the funniest part (now that I'm not worried much, I can laugh) she had paint brushes out on her bed also.... and three days ago she was all covered in colorful chalk (my daughter was drawing on the driveway and Sofy (the darn dog) rolled all over her drawings.... Yep, got to love them.....
thanks for reply!

Aw Babes, I bet she really feels guilty, what they like, they're worse than children at times but it doesn't stop us loving them and worrying about them, Aw bless=0)
Because the things she's eaten are kid safe, she should be OK, its surprising what the eat, they can be rather disgusting with their chose of food at times. The things My Sandy{Dog} use to pick up and eat when we were outside, i use to be nearly being sick at the sight of it and he was always OK afterwards.  Sometime pets will ruin or eat things through jealousy, so you need to watch for that, but mostly its through mischievousness.
Well i hope I've been some help, maybe a little, but hopefully some;)
Plz let me know how she gets on.
Kind Regards.
