head injury in 8 week old puppy

well, I have a 9 week old Chahuahua. she was bitten by my other dog (a 9yr old female shephard). I at first noticed a lump on her head. she was very stiff, she couldn't breath. tounge was hanging out and turning color. I didn't know if she had internal injuries or what.I really thought that was the end of her.so I held her close and wispered to her and cryed. I didn't want her to die alone. that was the hardest thing I ever had to do. I felt so helpless. after what seemed like forever. but was about 2 minutes or so, she relaxed. and very slowly started to breath on her own. I held her for 2 hrs. when she didn't pass away. I started to look her over slowly to see if there were other injuries. her head was swollen but she could walk. I called vet that night. no replay to the message I left. so I called first thing in the morning. he said to bring her in at 2:30 in the afternoon. because she was eating  and the swelling had gone down. he told me to keep an eye on her. well she is doing great. she wants to run and play like she did before her injury. I try to protect her head.  so she don't reinjure it. she has no contact with the other animals. 4 days have passed and she is more active. sence day 1 alittle bump on her head appears and goes away, it is the size of a dime and looks and feels like water. she gets it anytime. when sleeping or playing. I called the vet. he said to keep her still untill the bones in her head close. that could be a month. they told me to look online for information. all I would like to know is what is her head doing? is it a fluid or is her brain swelling?. should I be conserned?. could the fluid cause more damage or is it helping heal the brain. the vet said she gets it when she runs. but when she wakes up she has it too. how can I keep her still for a month while the bones in her head heal? any sugestions ?

aww that's so sweet but sad at the same time. Tell her I said hello!

I think you should take her to a vet and maybe have it scanned, especially if it's a little 9 week puppy!

Also you should be very careful when you walk her, as collies and shepards can be very voilent towards little dogs, as i've had two shepards in the past and i have a collie now, and they always start fights with little dogs and it's not that i'm a bad owner, it's because it's in their nature, so you have to be really careful.

But what annoys me, is that these idiots don't put  a mussles (sp?) around their dogs mouth, especially if it's something like a shepard or a collie ;l.

I would take her into see a vet if you are at all concerned. A head injury can be very serous in any dog, never mind a puppy of a tiny breed like a chi!
