hello. i have a 9 year old american building with the same problem. we went to the vet and the blood results showed that she had an enlarged heart, liver and some abnormality with her kidneys. we are so afraid to loose her. they want to keep testing her and we are not sure we want to put her through that. we are hopeful. im guessing this may be a her time :( it breaks my heart at the thought of having to put her down. my 4 year old daughter is going to have a hard time. what to do? any advice please..

Can you give us some more detailed information?  I assume you've taken your dog to your vet, so what does your vet think is going on?  What is causing the jaundice? Is this actually a case of pancreatitis?  Did the illness come on suddenly, or has she slowly deteriorated?  Are there any other changes in behavior or any other symptoms aside from the jaundice and vomiting?  Did she happen to get into a bunch of fatty food before symptoms showed up?
