Hi Arsha...Wow, I like good news! Glad you found a way to have her treated...

Heres what I want you to do for the future:

1. Everytime you get a little extra money (Even if it's coins), try to put some aside for the next time your girl gets sick....Over a period of time, the coins will add up and you will have the money for a Vet visit....Change (Coins) add up faster than you think....

2. Save a couple of dollars and get your girl some doggie toothpaste...You cannot use human toothpaste...Petstores sell toothpaste for dogs.....You do not have to use a toothbrush...That would be hard for her tiny mouth, but you can wrap a piece of cloth or gauze around your finger w/toothpaste on it, and scrub her teeth.....You need to try to do this at least 4 times a week to keep her teeth clean.....This will help prevent a tooth infection in the future.....The toothpaste will cost somewhere around $4, but will last a long time....I want you to do this when you can.....

OK, Again, thanks for the good news. I was having a rotten day & you have made it better.....Take care of yourself and your girl.......Good luck to you both, Karla

Hi Karla, First of all I would like to thank who ever made this page ,and thanks god that there is a people like you that help other people.
Thanks to your advices my dog is felling very good now, she’s back to normal again.
She had a teeth infection. One of my friend from the school she works at animal hospital she sow how worried I was and she asked her doctor to do a favor and cheek my dog. that’s how I found out that she has a teeth infection, and thanks god  it was not bad, so giving her a antibiotic she’s back to normal now. So she’s happy and I am happy...........
Thank you again.
Arsha

Hi  Arsha.....There is no way to heal her yourself, or any medication that I could tell you to use.....What we need to do, is think about a way to get her some medical treatment...

I understand not being able to afford a Vet visit, but she will only get worse without one, which isn't fair to her...You don't want her to suffer or be in pain...She doesn't understand what's going on or why she's sick!

OK, here's some thoughts:

1. Do you have anything you could sell or pawn at a pawn shop to get some money?
2. Do you have anyone that could loan you money and you pay it back later or a little at a time?
3. Call around at different Vet Clinics and ask if they can take a payment plan where you pay them back alittle at a time.....Offer to work for them (Even if it's cleaning cages at their clinic or anything else) to pay back her fees.....
4. Call your local Humane Society and ask if they know of any low cost Veterinary Clinics...They may can suggest where to go for services under these circumstances...The Humane Society may offer this service themselves.....Humane Societies will be open on Saturdays...Call some tomorrow...
5. Apply for Care Credit...It's a credit card to pay for Human & Animal Medical needs...You can do it online at CareCredit.Com. It would be worth trying....They charge a low or no interest and the amount can be paid back over time....Alot of Vet clinics accept this type of payment....
6. Last, and I'm not trying to be harsh here: Consider turning her over to a Humane Society where they can provide the medical attention she needs....They will treat her illness and then adopt her out to another home....I know that sounds awful, but if that's the only way to get her the help she needs, then I feel you have no choice!

I know you love her so you need to do what's best for her, even if it breaks your heart..

I wish I could tell you something to go purchase that will make her well, but that's not possible....She needs a doctor to diagnose her problem and treat it accordingly....Just as a Human would.....

Give this some thought and maybe you can come up with a plan....I'm hoping that I have at least given you something to think about......She WILL get worse and quit eating all together, I'm sorry to say....

I'm hoping for the best for you and her........Let me know what happens as I will be thinking about you both....Karla

Agree with Misfits too.   Or, it could possibly be an infection, cyst or tumor. You should get her in for an evaluation.
Hope she is better soon.

Hi Arsha & welcome.....What your describing sounds like an abcessed tooth....Your Vet needs to evaluate her teeth.....It's very painful for her to eat.....If she quits eating all together, then more problems arise because of lack of nutrition.....Little Chi's are sensitive & need their meals because of HypoGlycemia....

If the tooth is infected, then this adds to her not feeling well.....She will need oral antibiotics to get it under control....

If she's never had her teeth checked or had a Dental, it's time!

See your Vet ASAP as Peridontial Disease creates risks for Heart Disease.....It's alot easier to take care of it, now......Good Luck and come back w/updates.....Karla
