thank you for that info now i know that my dog is not eating healthy for his breed you guys are amazing i will definantly keep you posted on him!
When switching food.....Go very slowly as to avoid digestive upset.....If you are feeding a discount center/grocery store brand, you are defeating your purpose....My favorite sight that rates dogfoods is "Dogfood Analysis.Com"....Go to their sight and read reviews of different foods....Look up the one you feed & see what they have to say about it.....
Their choices of foods are rated 1-6 Stars....Six being the best.....See where your food rates and then do an upgrade....To a 4/5/or6 star rated food.....You won't be sorry....
Again, do it slowly....Yes, sm820 is correct.....It may be a Nutritional issue......Good luck and come back and let us know how he's doing......Karla
well i will try switching his food thank you for the tips.!
i hope he gets better soon
OOPSY!!! I just saw you are asking about hair ontop of nose...sorry. I agree with Misfits4me.
One of my daughters Pomeranians hair wasnt growing back normally. He had spots with no hair, and spots with short hair, and pieces of long hair. He looked like he had no tail. I had her change his food that had more vitamins and was natural, and within a couple of weeks his hair his growing back and looking good!
there is no crusting or scaling so how long do you think before it will start to heal my poor puppy i love him to death it just scared me
Look really close.....Is there any crusting or scaling on the area? If not, I'd say he's rubbing on the door of the crate, trying to get out or at something....Karla
he is 6 months old we have had him since he was only 2 months old. he has all metal bowls and its only on his nose that he is missing hair. i hope that it is only because of rubbing.
How old is your puppy and how long have you had him? There can be many reasons for that including he is possibly rubbing his nose on the crate or door. Could be using plastic bowls for feeding to Demodex to ring worm, and the list can go on and on.
Any hair loss around the eyes and/or ears?
