snorting dog

My 9 month old Rottweiler puts his nose flat on the floor, snorts in, then throws up a little.  What's up with that?

It sounds like he is clearing his throat and throwing up the mucuos. I have an english bulldog and sometimes he does that too.

He definitely snores at night.  The snorting is just weird.  It's like he's trying to smell what's under the floor.

some dogs like king charles have small air holes and snort alot. My dog snorts sometimes and the males snore when they sleep.
