my 5 yr old chawawa has had a hip hop hip since birth... now as he has aged he seems to be having hiper sisitive spots on his sides and back that make him do the "tickle spot" move..every time we touch him... could he have damage to his nerves from his birth defect?

I just looked at the picture,what a handsome little guy he is,he
looks like he is a fawn colored Chihuahua,very cute,thanks for
sharing him with us.

So sorry to hear your Chihuahua is having problems,poor 'lil guy!
I wished we could "examine"feel and touch your guy but this is
something you really need to have checked by your vet. I couldn't
say if he has an injury,if it is long term,on going all this time or it is
something that has just happened?
PLEASE do take him to your vet,this might be(?) one of those
things that could get worse with time,the longer you wait or it may
be nothing huge to worry about but he needs to see his vet ASAP.
