Last week at 17w1d, I had quad screening. I recently received a letter for an appointment to Maternal Serum Screening Counseling. What is this gor?Although there are no chromosomal abnormalities in either blood line, that I am aware of, there is nothing that I can do to prevent them in my children.. I just want to prepare my mind for whatever comes my way.. Thanks in advance.

I received ny results. I'm at higher risk 1:177. I opted not to have the amnio, yet am looking into further, noninvasive tests. If you don't mind my asking, what is your experience raising a child with DS?
I got a call from my dr when my quad screen came back & they made me go right to their office to go over the results. from there, he sent me to a bigger city for a more in depth ultrasound. he was born with down syndrome.
