POTS and high blood pressure after surgery

I was diagnosed with POTS a few years ago. I always had low BP and ate alot of salt, which helped. 2 months ago i had sinus surgery and had bad reaction waking up..cold, teeth chattering, neck and spine pain..also, since this time my BP is high (140/90) without any changes to my diet or meds. Im also sweating, dizzy and i think it set me into huge POTS flare? anyone experience this?

Hi yeah I was just diagnosed with pots about a week or two ago it's October 2016. Im 48 yo  . My pots came on after I had two surgeries and got a uro sepsis infection all within a matter of 2 weeks and my blood pressure normally runs 90/68 to 110/75 and now every time I move around my pulse goes up to 100 to 150  and my blood pressure  up  130/93.... I am currently on no medication.. I was told to take it easy but at least try and ride a recumbent bicycle 30 minutes 4 times a week.. I am supposed to start Prozac or Cymbalta today so we'll see how that goes and if my condition doesn't improve after a couple months then I'm supposed to start some other medications so we'll have to wait and see as I'm newly diagnosed..
All I know is that I spend like most of my days in bed now I try to sit up as much as possible when I do get up it's usually only like for 10 or 20 minutes just to do activities of daily living usually in the evening time I feel a little bit better and I can get up for a couple of hours I'm about to order the recumbent bicycle off of eBay and we'll see what happens from here
