Hey all,
I have seen the pain management specialist (finally! YAY!), the apparent viral illness that was causing agonizing pain in my muscles seems to be on its way out (YAY again!), and other than having to suddenly stop the Reglan because of the onset of what appeared to be those nasty Parkinsonian side effects that they warn about (Ugh!!), I think I'm on an upswing overall.
I'm going to do my best to CONTINUE upswinging (is that a word?) by carefully doling out my computer (i.e. upright) time judiciously, but I do want to get back into the normal flow of things with you folks. To that end, I may not see every thread here that is seeking my attention personally. So if you post something and you get the answers you need/want from the community and/or one of the other co-CLs here, awesome! If you post something and you want me personally to respond to it, can I ask you a favor and please send a PM to me with the link to your post so I'm sure to see it?
(To do this, click in the navigation bar of your browser and highlight the entire "address" whilst on the page of your post/question; the address is the "
http://medhelp.org/yadda/yadda_yadda_yadda" Then on a Windows PC hold down CTRL and hit the C button, on a Mac hold down the COMMAND button (immediately next to space bar) and hit the C button. Now go anywhere that my name appears (it's in the sidebar on the right side of Dysautonomia Community page under Top Answerers) and click on "heiferly" in blue. From my profile page, click "Send Message." Type me a message asking me to look at your post and to put the address of your post in your message, hit return to start on a fresh line of the message then Windows users hold down CTRL and hit the V button, Mac users hold down COMMAND and hit the V button. Now hit send. Done!)
This is just temporary until I'm fully back on my feet. Thanks for your patience and understanding. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please address them to one of the co-CLs (Halbashes, Evo123, or myself). You can always contact the moderators at MedHelp directly if you need the help of a moderator, also.
I hope you're all on an upswing too!!
Heiferly.
