Severe dizziness and nausea

Hello, i am a 44 year old woman, i have had PVC's for over 20 years with them steadily getting worse, it finally came to almost 8000 pvc's a day so i had a ablation in 2008, it helped with the pvc's i still have some but not nearly as many but i am still having the chest pain, left arm pain and shortness of breath.
Since around august of 2010 i have started having strange feelings in my chest, its hard to describe but if you have ever been pregnant and you know the feeling of a baby's foot or hand not kicking but rolling slowly, that is what it feels like. Around the same time i started having severe dizziness and nausea, sometimes vomiting. Doctors keep saying its stress or anxiety, i am on xanax and ativan and it does not help. I have been on anti deppresants most of my life but over the last 8 months everything seems to give me reactions such as chest pain, vomiting shortness of breath. My doctor does not seem to take me seriously and acts like its in my head, i dont know where to turn and dont want to drop dead, can anyone give me some advice?

How I can relate to your frustration !  I'm 42 yrs old, same symptoms - passed out cold 1 yr ago.  This September, began having severe symptoms daily (presyncope), then multiple times daily, even in the middle of the night.  Waves of rapid heartbeat and severe discomfort in chest, left side pressure, tinglling, etc. along with severe lightheadedness, shaking and very fuzzy disoriented feeling AND stomach discomfort.  I was diagnosed with Vasovagal Syncope but did not have a clue what it was really.  Please research it along with the VAGUS nerve - this nerve malfunctions and causes these symptoms.  I'm not a doctor but please research both and discuss with your dr.   I had 24 hour Holter monitor (EKG), ECG and stress test to rule out heart issues.  All tests were negative which is normal for this condition.  The Vagus nerve begins at the brain stem travels down both side of neck around the heart and into the abdomen, all related and when you research it - you'll find that there are many people who have these issues but very little info from the medical community, unfortunately.  My drs also said that it was anxiety but I never had the symptoms during times of true stress or anxiety but rather - it was completely random, whenever, wherever.  I'm not buying 'anxiety' as a cause... although anxiety is certainly the RESULT especially when no on will listen or help.  Sometimes SSRI's (Zoloft, Celexa, etc.) can help.  I was prescribed Celexa which was hard to adjust to but has relieved almost all of my symptoms including BP drop.  It's not for everyone but something to look into.  I hope you get the help that you need, good luck !

Yes i was having severe symptoms, i could not breath and was exhausted all the time and had chest pains. I dont know if there is another type of arrhythmia but i do have a regurgitaing valve. I am scheduled for some test tomorrow. It is very scary because i get a lot of the signs of a heart attack and nobody listens. they brush it off as depression. Heart disease is very strong in both sides of my family, most of the dead relatives died from heart surgery or heart attacks, i have several that are still alive but have had open heart surgery. I feel like i am just waiting to die like one day it will be a massive attack and then maybe the doctors will say oh well maybe we should have listened! its very frustrating.

Hi, I'm wondering why you had an ablation.  Were you having runs of pvc's one right after the other (v-tac)?  Or were they causing you severe symptoms?  I'm just wondering because it might be some other type of arrhythmia which might be causing your problems.  I know people can react differently to pvc's and luckily for me, i barely notice them and i'm having over 10,000 a day.  I hope you find something that helps soon.
