yellow spots

hi, 4 days ago i got my sore throat and suddenly not feeling well, fever, chills, and very light headache. i was taking a paracetamol , the fever down and ups again after several hours. the day after realized there was an yellow spots on the back of my tonsils. i was searching through the internet it probably a strep throat. on the 3rd day morning the sore throat was getrting a lot better but the fever is still the same and the yellow spots was there. so i decided to drink an antibiotics( cefixime)2 times a day with a paracetamol. today the fourth day the sore throat is almost gone but my fever is still there with chills and sweating a lot specially at nights with a lort of night sweats. my question is this normal bcs i hv taken so many medication but the fever is still there although almost with no other pain and the fever wasnt bad but the yellow spots back on my mouth is still there? and is it normal to have a lot of nigth sweats? what should i do
