Alllergic Rhinitis and possible Consequences

Hallo,

Two Years ago i had a persistent extremely runny nose for about 4 months. It turned out that the rhinitis was
caused by a sleeping drug because it started soon after I began taking the Drug and it ended soon after I
stopped taking it. But something had changed in the soft palate.
Is it possible that a long enduring and heavy rhinitis can lead to a permanent and irreversible enlargement
of the soft palate or the choanaes?. Because i feel somepressure there.

Regards

Anton
