Benefits of Septoplasty

Hi,
Only three weeks ago, I had a septoplasty and turbinoplasty done. As it is natural, I'm still experiencing problems for when I sleep, feeling very tired.

The doctor says this is normal and that it will take months for me to start feeling the benefits. How long would that be?

I would like to sleep and wake up rested more than anything in life.

Thank you,
C

Thank you for you answer!

My symptoms include Periodic Limbs Movement Syndrome. I know it might be related, with breathing problems. Would it disappear once the swelling is gone?

Hi, it may take time for the post op inflammation and swelling to come down. Once the inflammation comes down, your symptoms should resolve. So, wait and watch, if your symptoms worsen consult your doctor to rule out an infection. Regards.
