Can’t breath due to Mucus blockage around the soft palate

I can’t breath through my nose due to mucus blockage around the soft palate. I try to swallow it and mostly succeed but forms a very thick mucus back again and specially when I try to sleep the mucus piles up and  I make a snoring kind of sound unconsciously and wake up, and won’t fall asleep. I desperately need help. I’ve tried the nasal spray, but didn’t help. It’s been going on like this for the past 6 month now.
