Is anyone doing any better?
I have had two opinions and no help from either one but it did lighten my worrying a bit. Mine has been popping like this for a year and a half and at times it aches on the left side right when I swallow and other times it doesn't but the ent which has high accolades promised that it wasn't serious and not to worry about it. The problem is that he couldn't do anything about it and even said its an annoyance that I will have to deal with. Doctors need to figure out what this is because it seems more common than not when you look online.
i too have this. i had a polyp removed in my throat. and two days later i now have a clicking in my throat when i swallow. does it ever go away? PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!
Yes i talked to my doc. It's the same medication she gives me when i get poison ivy. It works great, the clicking is almost gone. It's way better than having to get surgery.
Did you talk to your doc before taking your dog's pills?
If not, I think you should stop taking them right away.
I have the same throat clicking problem as everyone else on here. I might have stumbled across something that helps. About 6 months ago my dog had trouble eating and drinking and his neck started to swell up. I took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with lymphoma(not sure if i spelled that right). She gave me some pain pills and steroids that took the swelling down and helped him eat. I'm sad to say he passed away a month later. i had some of the steroids left so a few days ago i started taking them. My clicking has almost stopped it's just barely there, hopefully it goes away. I'M NOT A DOCTOR SO YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK WITH YOURS BEFORE YOU TAKE THIS MEDICINE. I've been taking Prednisone 20 mg. I really really hope this helps some of you throat clickers. Please let me know if it does.
