Cough with Greenish Mucous

I have too much cough for last 20 days. When I cough the greenish mucous comes out. Initially it started with cough only and then I had fever. I went to the doctor and he prescribed an antibiotic and a cough syrup. After that the fever was gone but I still have the cough with too much mucus (greenish).

Please advise what should I do.

I've been coughing yellow mucous since some time last year. I'm always drowsy & my chest eels a bit tight.

Most likely the green mucus is post-nasal drippage from a sinus infection, which, as the smart doctor knows, will probably go away. If it doesn't, post again in a few weeks.
