Crackling/Popping sound coming from ears when swallowing?

I just had strep throat which also caused a double ear infection. I've been on antibiotics so I feel fine now. The only thing is that my ears still feel clogged and there is a crackling/popping noise when swallowing. However, there really isn't any pain anymore. I read that it could be Eustachian Tube Dysfunction, which sometimes occurs after a sinus or ear infection. The sound started 5 days ago and hasn't gone away yet. I read that it usually goes away after a week. Should I be worried?
