Could this be bppv?. Are you dizzy when you move your head in bed like rolling over  or sitting up from bed?
If that is the case, it certainly could be.  There are maneuvers to fix that. Look on YouTube. This is a fixable. I has been having this for the past 2 weeks. I get it seasonally......March and october

I just saw this post.  Sorry you didn't get a response. I've had vertigo before to the point of not being able to move and nausea/vomiting.  For me, it was an issue with my inner ear.  This is where MOST dizziness that people who post here comes from.  I had Eustachian tube dysfunction.  The remedy for me after a full year believe it or not was a recommendation by my ENT and that was to hold my nose and do reverse ear pops.  Do it several times (hold nose and blow, your ears pop).  I also will take a antihistamine (over the counter) when it happens.

So, not sure what is going on.  But definitely be seen by your regular doctor.  Most doctor's office have acute care appointments (people who are sick/ or are in a situation where they need to be seen promptly) and that is better than an ER (which is for emergency situations which this is not).  Get someone to drive you though as being dizzy and driving don't mix.

Let us know how you are doing!
thank you very much. you are very helpful and thoughtful. i appreciate it more than you know.
