Ear Issue

Two days ago when sleeping, I started to feel that my ear was sore. It felt as if inside it was bruised. I tried a cleaning system to days later, but now there is immense pain. At random moments the inside of my ear will sting, kind of like the pain you get when hold your nose and blowing from it when your in high elevation and your ears pop. In this case it's a never ending pain and hurts to where I'll slam my hand because it's too painful. (A stinging pain) I've tried taking Advil and Ibuprofen to numb the pain. This has now been occurring for two days. I was told it might be due to sleeping next to an AC, having my earphones in tight, or cleaning out my earwax too much. What do I do?
