Eustachian Tube Problem?

Hello:

I am a 26 year old female that has had ear and allergy problems pretty much all of my life. I have been to an ENT a couple times, but nothing has really ever come of the visits. Right now, I am not insured so I am unable to visit on at this time.

My main concern right now is my ears. Every single day, from morning till night, they always feel sort of full. Every swallow, every yawn, sometimes even just opening my mouth all the way, I can hear a crackling noise like something sticky being pulled off of a wall. At first I thought maybe it was patulous eustachian tubes, but the fullness in my ears worsens when lying down or bending over. Whenever I blow my nose, one ear, sometimes both, will feel fuller and fuller and impairing my hearing a little (like someone is covering part of my ear) and then either a yawn or not doing anything at all will pop my ear back open. Many times I will hear a loud squealing noise in my ear when blowing my nose. Sometimes I can just be sitting reading and I can hear that crackling suction nose in my ears. Loud noises bother me. When my allergies act up and/or I get post nasal drip, all of the above problems exacerbate. Many times my left ear is worse than the right. I am pretty sure I have a deviated septum on that side also. Decongestants don't help the problem. I have no pain or dizziness or anything, but the ear squealing and temporary hearing impairment can be very nerve wracking.

I know advice offered will not compare to visiting a doctor. I will make an appointment with one as soon as I can, although if I knew how much it would cost to visit one out of pocket, I might be willing to do it. Do these symptoms sound like any type of disorder? It sounds like something is wrong with how my eustachian tubes function.

Thanks!

PLEASE HELP! I have had 15 years of sinus/allergy/ear problems... I also have a deviated septum They ruled out sinus surgery with MRI'S/Cat scans... IK went for a hearing test...perfect hearing but a 'typanogram" test showed I have Euchstation tube dysfunction on right...they told me to live with it and that I should not have tubes put in as an adult...told me to have septum correction surgery instead...which I will do ASAP but that does not correct the damage already dont to the euchstation tubes!! WHY wont htey give me tubes to pressurize & reduce  pain?? I also cant fly without steroids & travel at leat 1x a year...Has anyone had this septum surgery && how did it affect your tubes/ears? Thanks!
