Hello and hope you are doing well.

Your symptoms could be due to Vocal abuse, which is due to excessive talking, throat clearing, coughing, inhaling irritants, smoking, screaming, or yelling. Vocal misuse is improper voice usage such as speaking too loudly or at an abnormally high or low pitch. Frequent vocal abuse can cause temporary or permanent changes in vocal function, voice quality, and possible loss of voice. This can be diagnosed by a throat examination.

This can lead to disorders like laryngitis, vocal nodules, vocal polyp and sometimes contact ulcers on the vocal cords. But these changes are reversible if the causative factors are dealt with. And sometimes voice therapy is helpful. You will need to consult your primary care physician for further evaluation, who may then refer you to an ENT specialist.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

Hi

I'm not really sure, I used to sing in a Rock band years back and I remember one night at a show after a week of hard practising I went to sing on soundcheck and my voise completely went....I had to push myself to get through the gig...nothing would come out.....was a nightmare....
I ended up resting it out...made fresh lemon and honey tea and eventually it came back in a week or so.
Try resting it out, if it doesn't get better in a week or two visit the GP, you may have just strained the vocal chord,...
Sorry i can't offer more solid advise, good luck :  )
