Left ear feels blocked

Hi since Dec, my left ear seems to have a sensation of feeling blocked. Since then it has become better but there are still periods of fluctuation in which rotates between blocked and not so blocked. However recently my right ear sometimes has a bit of that blocked sensation as well though its very mild and not really too much of a bother. My doctor says it could be due to Meniere's disease. I do get headaches, dizziness and nausea sometimes but its not all the time and not that bad in terms of intensity. I do not get any problem of vertigo up to this point in time. Can anyone share any insights with me on this? Do i really have Meniere's? What other explanations could there be for this.

To make it clearer, below is a list of symptoms I have experienced.
- headaches
- nausea
- dizziness
- blocked sensation in ears
- pain in ears

However, the pain in ears is a very rare occurrence. Ringing in the ears is a very rare occurrence as well. I do not suffer any symptoms of vertigo at all. I understand that vertigo is a major symptom of Meniere's. I do recall that the ear blockage problem started after this really bad cold a day before. However, I had already recovered from the cold on the day the ear blockage problem started.I have allergies by the way. Could this be due to problems like eustachian tube blockage. If so, it has been about 3-4 months since I had this problem. Does eustachian tube blockage last this long?

Many other possibilities! since this has similar symptoms to many other problems.  Are the symptoms you mention here the only symptoms?
