Lump at my throat

I woke up this morning to see a lump above my adam's apple. Is this normal? I haven't visit the doctor yet. There isn't other symtoms like sore throat flu or headache. Just a lump there, about an inch. Anyone know...

I wouldn't call that normal.  Most likely this is a benign mass, but it should be investigated.  Most likely possibilities include lymph node, thyroglossal duct cyst, dermoid cyst, laryngocele.
