Excessive Saliva

This has been going on for about a week now. I having trouble eating and drinking. Every time I take a bite of food or drink my mouth starts to water and build up to the point of choking. I either try and swallow it or spit it out. This i really starting to bug me considering it's affecting what I eat

Is this still going on?  Sudden onset of excessive saliva can actually be the sign of an underlying health situation.  Things like pregnancy (not sure if you are female or not), sinus infection, throat infection, oral hygiene issues, rabies (who knew), heartburn, even a spider bite.  https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/318728  Let me know if this is still happening.
