Orange tongue for over a month

Hey there so I notice about a month ago one morning that my tongue was bright orange(with some thickish white in the back). I thought that maybe it was from sleeping with my mouth open and it would just come off when I brushed my teeth, and it did just not all of it. Some days it’s better bright orange/yellow..others it’s darker, I’ve been to my regular doctor and dentist and both didn’t really have an answer for me. I’ve had it for a little over a month and it’s really frustrating, the only other symptom with it is a slight metallic/sour taste. I should also mention I have a girlfriend and not to gross anyone out but I have given oral sex to her so could that be a factor? I have also tried brush, tongue scraper, mouth wash etc. and nothing works.

Thanks for any help guys.
