Good morning or evening or day or night or afternoon ladies and gentlemen and whassup. I hate it when this happens. I love music, I always have done and I have well over 1000 songs on my laptop. But when I put my headphones in my ears (the ipod ones), the pain is something which kills.

I have a lump on my right ear. Feels kind of like a pimple and it is located somewhere in between the anti-helix and the concha of my right ear. **** it kills. Infact, I can't even put my headphones in properly becuse it will hurt. How do you treat this bad boy and how long will it take to heal?

I will be happy to rest my ears from music if it means it goes away.

The last time this happened was about 3 months ago.

Hi Hamed,
I have the same problem .. I have pain in the same area, but its not a pimple and  the skin looks fine., The cartilage beneath it hurts. Light-weight earphones in the ear for more than 10 mins aches it. I am curious if you had a diagnosis to your problem, and if so, what could it be ..

Thanks,
Sandy

It very well could be a pimple...some never come to a head, thus you have to play the waiting game.

You could try applying a hot compress to the area to see if you can bring it to a head.
