Hello there,
I am a 21 yr old male college student and everytime I wake up, I have a ton of drainage in my nose and throat. I blow my nose about 30 times in the first 15 minutes that I wake up... the excessive snot/phlegm gets caught in my throat causing me to "hawk up loogies" ( I am sorry for the slang, I am not sure how else to say it ). Eventually, after the constant "hawking up loogies", my stomache grows nausious and I end up throwing up a clear, bile tasting substance.
This constant vomiting (4-5 times each week, only in the morning) is starting to cause damage i my esophogus. I feel a burning in my chest/esophogus for a few hours after I vomit. I think that if this continues I may end up haveing a severe problem with my throat from all the vomiting.
Someone suggested I have my adenoids removed but after some research I don't think this is the case... can someone please give me their imput? I can't like like this for too much longer!
Kindly,
Justin Morales
