Sinuses Burn after crying

I was wondering if anyone ever had this issue.  I've in the past several months, after I cry, my sinuses burn.  They don't feel stuffed up, but burn like they are extremely irritated.  It sort of feels like I could real easily get a sinus infection if I'm not careful.  I get sinus infections very easy so I'm always trying to fend them of!  Just curious if to anyone else has this issue?

I get the same. My ears feel like someone's stabbing them when I cry. They've been like that since I can remember.

I get the same thing, even if i just cry a little the pain is unbearable, it leaves me unable to sleep or exist comfortably. I'm looking for some sort of remedy or at least something that dulls the pain/burning. Let me know if you find something. Crying is a natural way to let out emotions weather its happiness sadness stress or anger, crying comes to help flush emotions; I just want to be able not to fear tears anymore.

LOL no its actually in the sinuses, not my cheeks.....................  That's why it is so weird.  It ends up feeling like a sinus infection.  My sinuses ache, my teeth hurt, its hard to breath, and maybe sometime I'll get a little congested but its less from my nose being stuffy and more from inflammation.  It ends up lasting for a day or two.  Thanks god it doesn't turn into an all out sinus infection.  I get enough of those on my own!!!!!

And yes................... I should examine the reason why I cry and I have:)  Some times though things are hard to remove from you live though...............

Do you mean to say that you have burning sensation over the cheeks and forehead on crying for long? Sinuses are the holes in the cheeks and forehead and burning sensation is not something I have heard people experiencing. The space gets occupied by fluid and can lead to headaches, clogged nose and postnasal drip though. On a lighter note, why not pull the person up who is bringing the tears in the eyes and leave the sinus alone..:)
