Sinuses?

Hey All...

I am hoping someone can help shine some light on what's been going on with me. For the past 3 weeks I have had pressure inbetween my eyes, with some blurred vision and a lot of brain fog. I have also had congestion.

I had a CT scan done, that showed nothing. Is it possible to still have a sinus infection with a normal CT scan? I get Green mucus coming down the back of my throat, and green and yellow mucus at times out of my nose.

Thanks!

No, in fact a normal CT scan effectively rules out any kind of sinus disease.  Many patients get confused by pain in their face.  Naturally one assumes that pain there must mean that the sinuses beneath must be the source.  This is sometimes true, but many times not.  The CT clears that up for you.  If your symptoms do not resolve, you should see a Neurologist.  Several types of headache and facial pain diagnoses exist and can be treated.

Hey,

They are the exact same symptoms I have been getting for 3 weeks now!! Blurred vision, balloon head sensation, pain and pressure between my eyes. But my ears get affected too, I have pressure in them and popping. Sounds like you have sinus problems, im not sure why nothing showed up on the CT scan
