Small piece of tic tac stuck in throat / Frontal Lobe Memory Problems

Oke so 1.5 years ago I got a very tiny piece of minth stuck in my throat. Whatever I've been trying I couldn't cought it out.  I still have that feeling on the same spot now about 10 cm below the adams apple. After that I've been having severe frontal lobe memory problems/language problems brain fog/loss can't remember what i did yesterday, almost no short term memory, long term memory anymore ye in short complete black out of mind daily altough i dont feel im gonna go unconscious. I still have that feeling in my throat and when i went to my astma specialist because i was so outta breath he said your astma isn't severe enough i had 95%+ oxygen. and i kept saying help me please im gonna die. answer: astma isn't severe enough, longues are normal, listened to my longues and came to the conclusion chronic hyperventilation and he send me back home. How can I get rid of that feeling/cough in my throat? Would my memory problems recover to the same as they used to be or will it stay after such a long of period? Any tips/help is welcome

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Sometimes the foreign body feeling in the throat can occur due to a fungal infection. Steroid inhalers are known to promote their growth. It is usually caused by candida albicnas. Please discuss this with your doctor am sure he will provide further assistance.

In addition you are having progressive memory loss and recall functions. You could try a lot of ‘brain teasers’ to improve your memory functions. The brain can retain only a certain number of ‘facts’ and everything else is recalled based on its relationship with these facts. So, try always making lists and memorizing, doing a lot of puzzles, focus on recalling textual content and mathematical logic, not only recall keep giving it your personal touch by adding something to it; focus on both long term and short term events and jot it down and get it cross checked and keep improving on speed and efficiency. And do get adequate sleep; it’s supposed to improve cognitive functions. I know it’s easy to talk but difficult to practice, but perseverance is the key here keep at it and you will see a drastic improvement.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

It's possible that you have some scar tissue in your throat from that incident. It's also very possible that it's caused by your asthma.
I get a chronic cough twice a year...asthma due to allergies...and during that time it always feels like there is a needle or something caught in my throat.
Many asthmatics complain of "odd sensations" in their throats.

PND ( post nasal drip ) can also cause a constant feeling of something in the throat.
Acid reflux is another contributor to the odd throat feelings.

I'm wondering if you have anxiety issues as well.
Many people with anxiety describe being out of breath, feeling as though something is stuck in their throat, and have memory issues...just to name a few.
I used to suffer with terrible anxiety, so I know these issues to be true.
I would speak to a physician about these problems.
