Sore Throat for 22 days

I have had a sore throat for 22 days: what is making me ill?

I am a nonsmoking 40 year old man who is in good shape. I have been travelling in Brazil.

22 days ago I became ill with a virus. The symptoms are as follows-

Great tiredness (for 22 days since inception, peaking on day 7).
Some pressure in my head although no pain (peaking on day 7).
Sore throat for 22 days.
Swollen lymph glands on rhs of neck which have possibly spread to armpits (and possibly spread to groin) (from day 13 to present).
Some night sweats (days 12, 19-21)
Lack of appetite.

I have not had the following symptoms-

yeast infections in mouth, on chest, hands, feet soles
fever
headache

The throat infection is not bacterial - I have taken antibiotics to no effect.

29 days ago I had protected sex with a woman in Brazil. Her vaginal fluids got on my fingers and on the final cm of skin at the base of my penis where the condom stopped. Day 27 I had a negative HIV1-2 antibody test.

Can somebody tell me what I might have?
