Sore throat - white stuff

I have had a sore throat for 3 weeks. Not severe, just like something was stuck back there.
Generally unwell with fatigue and aches and pains (ongoing HIC Exposure concerns)

Today i was sat in car and looked in the rear view mirror and opened wide.
I saw white areas on the back of my throat.

I dont know if the are ulcers,, blisters or thrush plaques.
I have none on my tongue or inseide walls of my mouth.

I have started to sneeze but have had no cough.

I wish i could take a photo but i cant get it right to share.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Hello and hope you are doing well.

White patches are common in many throat  infections. The sore throat and tonsillitis which you had may have contributed to it. In response to the infection the body produces soft white debris which collects in the tiny indentations in the tonsils called crypts. Repeated salt water gargles will help. Mix one teaspoon of salt in 1 cup of warm water and gargle. If the patches increase in size or become painful then consult your doctor.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
