Swollen right tonsil after eating

The past week or so while I'm eating I notice that my right tonsil becomes swollen and hard. It stays this way for 3-4 hours and then returns to normal size. There is some discomfort with it and a little pain, more like pressure on my neck. I'm 27, healthy, non smoker.
