Tonsillectomy recovery

Hello,
curretly I am on my 35th day after tonsillectomy. Everything was going great untill the day 32. The scabs were almost gone on the right side and completely gone on the other. The pain while swallowing was almost gone aswell. But on the
day 32, I noticed slightly more discomfort on both sides of the throat and also a mild fever (around 37°C). It has not improved from the day 32 until now. I wonder, is that supposed to happen? I have read that complete recovery after tonsillectomy can last up to a year, which scared me as hell. Can you please share your experience and opinions about this problem? Thank you very much and sorry for any gramatical or medical mistakes, I am not a native English speaker.
