WET EARS for over 6 years

Hello ,

In 2003 I remember having a "out there feeling,or fogginess,Dizziness like the world moved, somewhat of changes in my vision during the episodes as if I had a few drinks and was buzzing. I went to the doctor and was told I had an inner ear thing going on and was given antibiotics which I remember helping a lot. But ever sense then, especially in the morning. Both my ear leak clear fluid, and its wet,wet like I have just taken a shower or went for a swim. This clear fluid coming from my ears kinda smells like a wet towel that hadn't dried out musty smell?

Also sense 2003 I seem to always get dizzy easily.

More recently I have so many strange symptoms going on like hair thinning in one spot and texture changes of cores, brittle wavy hairs that just fall out with no effort at all have popped up everywhere and is easy to find on my very straight hair, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, vision changes during easily dizziness episodes, panic attacks for no reason, upper arm and leg weakness,my hands are always cold and nails are purple despite oxygen levels of 100%. When I get emotionally excited chatty with friends not nessarly a bad emotion,I get shortness or breath when talking or an out there feels, dizziness like maybe I'll have a sezier or something (Which I wouldnt know what that feels like anyways giving I've never had one)

I've been to a few cardiologist that ran lots of tests, stress,Echo, and 24 hour holter monitors. Everything always checks out which is good. I do have PVC's but the cardiologist reasured me everythings ok. Then more recently in Oct, I expearanced  shortness of breath that  became worse and worse until I had to go get a breathing treatment, My oxagen level at that time was 94 and I know thats normal but does that make a difference if everyother time I've ever put my finger on that reader it was 100? Anyways My family doctor sent me to a Lung doctor because he didn't know what to make of it. And thats all in the prosses at this moment ( My lung doctor thinks I'm having enviormentaly induced bronchio spaums and I'm feel much better in that department)

My family doctor did test me for thyroid I'm not sure exacitly what test were done. But I got a phone call from my family doctor saying my T3 and T4 were low,and my THS was normal and he wasnt sure what to make of that?? Thats not my first test that came back like that but the two family doctors I've seen said oh..huh? we'll its not your thyroid End Of Story.

The only thing thats new and I dont know if its related at all is I had a Mirena IUD placed in July of 2010,and 2 weeks after I had my IUD placed I started having panic attacks and hair loss, and the texture changes.. With the panic attacks I swear nothing is going on in my life that was stresful at that time.

From a doctors point of view of me, I'm young, healthy, ( 5'7 138 pounds) not over weight, no seriously health problems at all ever.  I'm sorry this is so long. I'm 24 years old,I'm a mother of 3 young children, I just feel like something so very worng or off. I feel like a nut job. On blood tests my doctor tells me I'm fine but then why do I feel like this? The mental toll has really taken a beating on me (so if I'm having panic attacks now this is why).

Its not a matter of my doctors not listening to me,or is it? I just want to feel normal and my hair stay on my head.

Please help even if its pointing me in the right ditection of telling me I need to get some chair work?? Sorry this is so long.

                                                                 Thank you for reading.

We both by the way have spent so much time suffering with this, so I understand your frustration. It is such an awful thing to deal with every day. I have been prescribed meds to deal with the dizzy spells. If nothing else, maybe your doctor can prescribe you something until you find the root of the problem. Im pretty convinced its an inner ear infection. I would also advise you to do some research on Miniers Disease online.

I posted something in the forum a couple days ago so you can compare symptoms and see what I mean. I also have the foggy vision too but didnt mention that in my post. I have to have surgery to repair holes in my eardrums which have caused inner ear infections. The inner ear infection is what is causing all the symptoms. The only one that I dont relate to is the hair stuff thats going on with you.
An e.n.t would be able to help you with vertigo problems (which cause the other symptoms).

I  think a lot of our symptoms match up very well. Have you been to see an Otolaryngologist? I was told that's where I need to be going. Internet and libary research has told me that Inner ear infections cause most of the symptoms that you are talking about. They cause a level of anxiety too, which could be the mental state that you are talking about. GOOD LUCK
