What is going on with my condition?

My throat has been sore for the past 4days. My body feels really weak and tired. Tonsils are swollen and painful and I have difficulty in swallowing food or drinking water. I took ibuprofen for easing the pain but it comes after the effect of medicine wears off. Before I got this, I have recurring tonsilitis and my left tonsil regularly produces pus which I just drain using cotton swab or my clean finger if I feel there is something in it. Now I got cut in tje center of my lower lip and it is really painful and also my upper gums are starting to feel swollen. When I started feeling sick, I also felt my lymph node under the right part of my jaw is swollen and kind of painful. I went to doctor today and he just checked my throat and prescribed me mouth spray and antibiotic CO-AMOZICLAV. He didn't really talk to me about what is happening to me. But I trusted him and just went outside to buy what he told me to buy. Anyone who can tell me what is this thing?


P.S. I got the cut before I got fever and sore throat and all.
